Southwest Cinnamon Sugar Cinnamon Rolls
Sweet, smokey, flavorful, spice filled cinnamon rolls that taste like a cowboy got lost in the woods and made the world's most amazing cinnamon rolls over a campfire. These will change you life.
Ingredients:
Dough:
- 1/4 cup PSC Whiskey Smoked Sugar
- 1 1/4 tsp PSC Smoked Salt
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 whole egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 6 Tbsp butter
- ~3 1/2 cups flour
- Packet of yeast
Filling:
- 1 cup PSC Southwest Cinnamon Sugar
- 2 Tbsp melted butter
- 1 Tbsp molasses
Icing:
- 1/4 cream cheese
- 3 Tbsp milk
- 1 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar
Directions:
- whisk eggs, sugar, butter and milk
- add flour and combine with dough hook
- knead for five minutes
- spray bowl with cooking spray, place in bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight
- roll dough into ~20" x 12" rectangle
- brush dough with butter leaving dry edge along top
- combine filling ingredients and spread over dough
- roll dough into a tight cylinder
- slice into 1 1/2 inch rolls and place in buttered baking dish
- bake at 350° for about half an hour
- whisk together icing ingredients and top rolls with icing
