Sweet, smokey, flavorful, spice filled cinnamon rolls that taste like a cowboy got lost in the woods and made the world’s most amazing cinnamon rolls over a campfire. These will change you life.
Ingredients:
Dough:
– 1/4 cup PSC Whiskey Smoked Sugar
– 1 1/4 tsp PSC Smoked Salt
– 4 egg yolks
– 1 whole egg
– 3/4 cup milk
– 6 Tbsp butter
– ~3 1/2 cups flour
– Packet of yeast
Filling:
– 1 cup PSC Southwest Cinnamon Sugar
– 2 Tbsp melted butter
– 1 Tbsp molasses
Icing:
– 1/4 cream cheese
– 3 Tbsp milk
– 1 1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar
Directions:
– whisk eggs, sugar, butter and milk
– add flour and combine with dough hook
– knead for five minutes
– spray bowl with cooking spray, place in bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight
– roll dough into ~20″ x 12″ rectangle
– brush dough with butter leaving dry edge along top
– combine filling ingredients and spread over dough
– roll dough into a tight cylinder
– slice into 1 1/2 inch rolls and place in buttered baking dish
– bake at 350° for about half an hour
– whisk together icing ingredients and top rolls with icing
